Picturesque and beautiful Greek village of Sidari

€698 pp

Probably the most famous destination on Corfu’s north coast, Sidari is certainly one of the liveliest. This one-time fishing village grew during the Eighties to become a veteran resort with beds for some 14,000 visitors. These days you’ll find a huge array of bars and restaurants on its busy main strip, but you’ve also got pretty, secluded coves and lovely coastal walks, too.

This small hotel looks out over the Canal d’Amour’s colourful cliffs and swim-through caves. There’s a little cove right nearby, and it’s only 5 minutes’ walk from a big, main beach.
This family-run hotel has a big pool, lots of sunbathing space and a buffet restaurant that lays on some Greek classics. Fifteen minutes’ walk away you’ve got bars and places to eat in Sidari.

There’s a large pool, which comes with a kids’ section. There’s lots of space for sunloungers around the edge as well as on the lawns. And you’ve got a bar for toasties, pizza and drinks.
Walk past the pool bar, go down some steps and minutes later you’re at a sandy cove. This is part of the Canal d’Amour. You can swim through caves or slap on some clay from the rocks for a natural body mask.

This place is spot on for families. There's a grassy playground with slides, swings and a climbing frame, and next to the main pool you'll find a shallow one that's perfect for paddling. There's also a First Choice kids' club with fun themed rooms and activity sessions designed by experts.
